Purpose of Role
The Operational Engagement Manager is responsible for ensuring the delivery of high-quality services within the Value Partnerships portfolio. This includes meeting customer satisfaction expectations, achieving contractual obligations, and ensuring alignment with financial targets and key performance indicators (KPIs). The role also involves developing strong strategic relationships with customers and internal stakeholders to support the long-term success of each partnership.
Your Role:
- Customer Relationship Management: Develop and sustain strategic, long-term relationships with customers to ensure partnership objectives align with hospital goals, expectations, and innovation initiatives.
- Strategic Alignment: Define and communicate clear strategic objectives to all stakeholders, facilitating decision-making processes that support the achievement of operational and financial goals.
- Contractual Management: Prepare and lead contractual review meetings with customers, ensuring partnership targets, financial performance, and service quality standards are met.
- Governance & Steering Committees: Organise and lead partnership steering committees with both internal and external leadership, ensuring alignment with broader strategic and operational goals.
- Issue Escalation: Manage the escalation of strategic-level issues in coordination with the Customer Services team, focusing on service quality, operational effectiveness, and goal alignment.
- Programme Planning & Delivery: Collaborate with the technical solutions team to develop and manage equipment installation plans that meet both customer requirements and operational standards.
- Project Oversight: Oversee the execution of installation projects, ensuring adherence to plans, customer satisfaction, and timely delivery.
- Innovation & Service Development: Facilitate innovation workshops with customers and internal subject matter experts to explore new solutions and service improvements.
- Opportunity Identification: Identify and develop opportunities to expand the partnership through the introduction of new equipment, services, or value-added offerings.
- Performance Monitoring: Track and report on KPIs including service uptime, customer satisfaction, and cost efficiency to ensure partnership objectives and financial targets are consistently met.
- Reporting & Risk Management: Provide regular updates to senior leadership on partnership performance, strategic progress, risks, and improvement areas to ensure proactive management.
- Continuous Improvement: Apply LEAN methodologies to enhance operational efficiency, drive cost savings, and support a culture of continuous improvement across cross-functional teams
Essential Qualifications and Experience:
- Significant experience in managing strategic partnerships within complex, service-driven contracts.
- Strong relationship management skills, capable of working effectively with stakeholders at all levels within both Siemens and client organisations.
- Extensive experience in service and/or project-based environments, ideally within the healthcare or medical technology sectors.
- Demonstrable success in managing large-scale, contract-based operations.
- Commercially astute with sound financial and contractual knowledge.
- Highly proactive and results-driven, with a strong service delivery mindset.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.
- Competent in using Microsoft Office and service management systems.
Desirable:
- Degree-level education or equivalent professional experience.
- Familiarity with medical imaging equipment.
- Experience applying LEAN principles in an operational setting.
