As a Managed Pathology Services (MPS) Sales Manager, you will lead the customer strategic sales process by channelling advanced sales techniques towards decision stakeholders in the customer, convincing them that our Siemens MPS solution is the most appropriate solution for their Pathology Network. This will be done by focusing on the unique advantages of the Siemens MPS solution as they relate to achievement of a customer challenge or vision and as distinctive from competitors.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Lead and define a tender-winning bespoke customer selling strategy.
  • Define a Pathology Network stakeholder engagement plan for complex tenders assigned to the role.
  • Deliver unique insights to customer internal stakeholders to provoke customer action and lead customer thinking.
  • Ensure effective communication of Siemens MPS solutions benefits and worth.
  • Influence the tender specification in Siemens' favour whilst ensuring that the solution being proposed is profitable to Siemens.
  • Build the funnel for the Siemens MPS offering, leveraging existing IB, KOL's and relationships.
  • Identify and build engagements with Key Decision makers and decision influencers within Immunology, in the targeted Pathology Networks.
  • Establish early in the selling cycle a network of key stakeholders and their desired outcomes.
  • Work with the Sales Process Manager and Partnership Manager (if appropriate) to define a project roadmap incorporating various strategic action points to engage the required Siemens resources at defined timelines.
  • Work with the tender team to ensure all aspects of the tender offering are incorporated into the response and that the offering calibrates with the sales strategy and direction.
  • Manage all interactions with the Pathology Network at all touch points to ensure consistent communication and proof of the proposed solution.

Your Skills & Experience:

  • A deep knowledge of competitive Pathology Service offerings is a key requirement for the role and the ability to effectively differentiate the proposed Siemens solution.
  • An advanced ability to effectively communicate the higher order and systemic benefits of the Siemens solution to Trust Senior Executives and Procurement Teams.
  • Proven experience in high level sales projects.
  • Deep understanding of Immunology business in NHS customer base.
  • Experienced in working within and leading high performing teams.
  • High communication, presentation and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven abilities to engage and influence Key NHS C Suite staff as well as Clinical Directors and Pathology Managers.
  • Ability to identify and influence key potential partners within the NHS and develop winning strategies using challenger concepts.
  • An in-depth understanding of the changing Pathology environment and the ability to teach and influence key stakeholders regarding the use of Siemens as the preferred partner of choice.
