The Commercial Excellence Manager, EMEA/Indirect is responsible for driving sales performance, forecasting accuracy, operational discipline, and data-driven insights across the Point of Care Diagnostics business. This role strengthens commercial execution by designing scalable processes, optimizing CRM and forecasting rigor, and enabling high-performing sales teams with world-class tools, content, and analytics. The role works closely with global and regional sales leadership to improve funnel health, support go-to-market execution, and deliver actionable commercial insights.
Responsibilities
- Commercial Performance & Insights
- Lead commercial performance reporting, including order and revenue intake, funnel analysis, forecast accuracy, CRM utilization, and competitive insights.
- Track and analyze key sales KPIs (win rate, funnel velocity, time to productivity, content/tool usage) to identify trends and recommend opportunities for improvement.
- Partner with sales leaders to understand performance gaps and guide effective, actionable solutions.
- Sales Process, Governance & Operational Excellence
- Develop and maintain consistent sales processes, operating mechanisms, and governance models to support alignment and adoption across markets.
- Strengthen forecasting discipline and CRM hygiene by promoting accurate inputs, clear funnel stages, and transparent deal management.
- Lead or support business reviews, forecasting sessions, and performance rhythms with regional leadership teams.
- Reporting, Analytics & Data Management
- Build and maintain dashboards, KPI scorecards, and executive level reporting packages.
- Use BI tools and AI enabled analytics to generate insights that support stronger commercial execution.
- Balance standard reporting cadences with ad hoc analytical requests, prioritizing effectively to meet business needs.
- Tools, Platforms & Enablement
- Support adoption, training, and ongoing optimization of digital tools across sales teams and partners.
- C curate, update, and manage sales and training content to ensure accuracy, clarity, and accessibility for all users.
- Cross Functional Collaboration
- Partner closely with Sales, Marketing, Training & Enablement, Finance, and Revenue Operations to align commercial processes and improve execution.
- Support or lead strategic initiatives such as sales transformation programs, maturity assessments, enablement campaign launches, and deployment modeling.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, Finance, Analytics, or a related field.
- Extensive years of experience in sales operations, commercial excellence, business performance management, revenue operations, or commercial analytics.
- Strong experience with forecasting, CRM utilization, sales process governance, and KPI reporting.
- Demonstrated ability to analyze large datasets and translate insights into meaningful business actions.
- Proficiency with CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce, Oracle Sales Cloud) and BI tools (Power BI, Tableau).
- Experience with enablement platforms such as Seismic or LMS systems.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to influence and collaborate with cross functional stakeholders.
- Highly organized, process oriented, and comfortable managing multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
