Role DescriptionBuild credibility with technical, clinical, and business stakeholders. Be comfortable discussing and configuring network connectivity to the Varian Cloud (AWS and Azure), setting up/troubleshooting HL7 messaging, Cloverleaf, addressing security configuration needs/concerns, discussing, and configuring VPNs, Whitelisting, and working cross‑functionally within Varian to deliver a memorable, positive customer experience.
Provide customer‑facing technical expertise, primarily during implementation, across domains such as networking, data interoperability, security, and operations for Varian's Software‑as‑Service portfolio. Serve as an active part of the SaaS Enablement Team to deliver a successful implementation from kick‑off through go‑live. Develop and foster relationships with the internal customers: SaaS project team, other partners inside Varian’s network. Update and maintain customer cloud‑supported product environments as needed. Compile status reports to the assigned project manager/manager. Collect and analyze data, providing feedback and identifying opportunities to improve the implementation and customer satisfaction.
Perform cloud product installations and configuration, as well as on‑premise connectivity, using system tools where available for implementation and upgrades. Promptly respond to incidents and other events as necessary. Work with cloud‑based and on‑premise (physical and virtual) environments, operating systems, databases and other software and networking technologies. Review scope of work for assigned tasks and track to completion. Review customer IT infrastructure and project plans to ensure they meet documented installation requirements. Complete all necessary task documentation to meet Varian’s Quality processes and procedures. Require limited direct supervision. Attend planning calls and provide technical input as needed. Complete company‑provided training within prescribed timelines. Report to the Director of the SaaS Enablement Team.
Requirements and QualificationsAble to work in fast‑paced environment and on multiple tasks in an organized, efficient manner. Excellent communication skills. Passion for delivering excellent customer experience ratings. 2‑5 years’ experience. Cooperative and composed, good team player. Willingness to travel to designated events.
