Job Requirements
This varied 12-month internship will give you the opportunity to work with teams across the business, supporting how we communicate and engage with our people and visitors, while contributing to projects that help us continuously improve how we work.
Alongside your day-to-day role, you’ll take part in our 12-month Intern Development Programme, designed to help you develop key skills including communication, teamwork and commercial awareness.
This internship may involve working at either or both of our Eynsham and Bicester sites as part of your role. You’ll be working with teams at both locations and gaining unique insight into how a large-scale business manages the ramp-up of our new facility while maintaining day-to-day delivery.
In this role you will:
- Support internal communications, helping to create and share engaging updates, initiatives and key messages across the business.
- Contribute to branding and engagement activities, helping us communicate consistently and professionally with our people and wider stakeholders.
- Support the planning and coordination of internal and external visits, including preparation, communications and supporting materials.
- Help to review, document and improve business processes, identifying opportunities to make the way we work clearer and more effective.
- Contribute to cross-functional projects, working with colleagues across areas including operations, engineering, quality and business support.
- Support communications, engagement and business readiness activities as we continue the transition of operations between our Eynsham and Bicester facilities.
Work Experience
You should be an undergraduate student currently studying towards a Bachelor’s degree in any subject and looking for a 12-month internship or industrial placement.
You should also:
- Have strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage with people across different areas of the business.
- Be proactive and curious, with a willingness to get involved, ask questions and learn.
- Have good organisation and attention to detail, with the ability to manage a variety of activities.
- Enjoy working collaboratively and building relationships with different teams and stakeholders.
- Have an interest in communications, engagement and continuous improvement, and how these contribute to the success of a business.
- Be adaptable and happy to get involved, comfortable moving between planned project work and other day-to-day activities.
You must also have eligibility to work in the UK for the duration of the internship (Summer 2027-Summer 2028), as we are unable to offer sponsorship for internship roles.
No previous industry experience is required. An interest in communications, engagement and business improvement, and a willingness to learn and contribute, are more important than your degree subject.
