Are you a passionate and experienced Product Engineer with Test equipment development and maintenance knowledge and willing to join our expanding Engineering team in Swords, Co. Dublin, developing next generation IVD Immunoassay and Clinical Chemistry instruments?

This role will be responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing custom test fixtures that enable thorough and efficient testing of our products. Your expertise in automation design, engineering principles, and technical problem-solving will be utilized to create robust and user-friendly test fixture solutions. The candidate will work within a cross functional engineering team built to develop solution which cater for the immunoassay and chemistry diagnostics markets.

The role is high paced where the candidate will work on many different projects across the full product lifecycle- i.e., R&D, manufacturing, and commercial product support.

As a key member of the team, you will be part of a highly innovative multidisciplinary Engineering group working on complex problems to serve the needs of laboratories of any size – today and tomorrow.

The critical skills required.

* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand product test requirements and design specifications.

* Analyze current test equipment designs and identify optimal testing approaches.

* Design and assemble largely automated test fixtures (comprising full elect mechanical and software elements) ensuring they meet quality and safety standards (CE marking).

* Can analyze test data to determine and eliminate root cause of issues using sound Engineering principle.

* Create requirements and robust designs to meet business needs, while developing validation and verification plans which ensure test fixture functionality and reliability.

* Improve test fixture designs to enhance efficiency.

* Problem solving, planning, analytical skill with the ability to collate, analyze and summarize data.

* Knowledge and experience with programming languages such as Labview, C, C++, C#,

* Utilizes their knowledge and skill set to get the job done with pace.

* Bachelor’s degree in relevant Engineering technical discipline

* 3+ years’ experience in a test fixture development role.
