Purpose of Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and scientifically driven CT Collaborations Manager to support and manage strategic collaborations with luminary institutions and clinical partners. In this role, you will drive joint research projects focused on Siemens Healthineers’ Computed Tomography (CT) technologies—particularly Photon Counting CT—with the goal of translating innovative developments into impactful scientific publications and clinical advancements.
Your Role:
- Initiate, manage, and support scientific collaborations with leading academic and clinical institutions.
- Drive collaborative research projects to successful completion, leading to high-impact scientific publications.
- Collaborate closely with internal R&D and clinical teams for comprehensive evaluation and testing of CT prototypes.
- Identify and build strong partnerships with key opinion leaders and luminary institutions.
- Facilitate and execute collaboration agreements in coordination with local Collaboration Officers, Legal, Regulatory, and Compliance teams.
- Track and manage research project deliverables, milestones, and timelines to ensure progress and alignment with strategic goals.
- Explore and develop new clinical application areas for Siemens Healthineers CT technologies.
Essential Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Medical Physics, Biomedical Engineering, or Medicine.
- PhD in a field related to medical imaging (ideally CT), or equivalent postgraduate experience in academia, industry, or healthcare, with a strong publication record.
- Deep understanding of Computed Tomography and Medical Imaging, including technical and clinical workflows.
- Experience with Photon Counting CT technology is strongly preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to lead projects within interdisciplinary and collaborative environments.
- Proven track record of working effectively in clinical and multi-disciplinary settings.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills; capable of explaining complex scientific concepts to varied audiences.
- Fluent in English (written and spoken).
- Willingness and flexibility to travel up to 50%, including internationally.
