- Lead troubleshooting and service teams to deliver scheduled and unscheduled maintenance at site to EHS, quality, time, and cost requirements.
- Actively promote the #Homesafe EHS culture, ensuring correct reporting of incidents, accidents, near misses, and unsafe conditions.
- Prepare and execute work packages/tasks efficiently.
- Develop technician competency and mentor team members while providing direct supervision on-site.
- Liaise with other field teams, technical functions, and service coordinators to ensure smooth operations.
- Maintain efficient timescales for service activities and assist in creating daily and weekly plans for site teams.
- Your role will be crucial in ensuring the reliability and performance of our wind turbines, contributing to a sustainable energy future.
What you bring
- Experience working as a Technician, preferably within the wind industry, though new entrants are encouraged to apply.
- Practical experience with MS Office applications; familiarity with SAP, Salesforce, and remote diagnostic tools is preferred.
- Strong leadership skills and the ability to work under pressure while managing a team of service technicians.
- Knowledge of health and safety legislation and a commitment to maintaining a safe working environment.
- A comprehensive understanding of your competency levels as a Technician, Competent Technician, Maintenance Technician, and Troubleshoot Technician.
- A valid driving licence and willingness to transfer to Wind Turbine Generator locations by CTV.
