- Responsible for effectively leading and motivating a team of production operatives within your work area by promoting teamwork and ensuring clear, effective communication.
- Continually monitor production processes, adherence to schedules, quality standards, and safety protocols while evaluating team performance to support performance reviews and ongoing skill development for both existing and new team members.
- Identify and resolve operational issues, collaborating with relevant support functions to implement solutions.
- Conduct regular inspections and audits to ensure products meet quality specifications and compliance standards.
- Promote a strong culture of safety, ensuring all team members follow safety guidelines and participate in required safety training.
How You’ll Make an Impact
- Responsible for KPI's, e.g., Safety, Delivery, Quality, People, and Cost targets (shift and hourly).
- Accountable for product and process quality through strict adherence to QF/PF (critical quality and process controls).
- Adhere to company EHS guidelines, act on safety observations, and follow incident management processes to implement immediate containment actions and correctly log incidents.
- Actively participate in risk assessment reviews for your assigned areas.
- Ensure 5S standards are met by leading teams to follow established procedures.
- Provide technical leadership to operatives, supported by the training department, ensuring right-first-time execution across all processes in line with agreed quality standards and delivery targets.
- Ensure compliance with all standard operating procedures.
