Join us as a Senior Project Manager in the UK & Ireland Project Management function, where you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the successful delivery of a key substation project in Finstown, Orkney. How You'll Make an Impact
- Lead the end to end planning and execution of large scale substation projects, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to quality standards.
- Develop comprehensive project plans that define scope, schedules, and resource requirements, aligned with PMI methodologies.
- Oversee financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control, while reporting regularly to senior leadership.
- Act as the primary interface for all project stakeholders, fostering strong relationships and ensuring alignment on project goals.
- Mentor and manage a multi disciplinary project team, cultivating a culture of high performance and accountability.
What You Bring
- A Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Project Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Extensive experience (typically 10+ years) managing large scale, complex technical projects, preferably in the energy or heavy infrastructure sectors.
- Proven expertise in project planning, financial control, and risk management, with a track record of leading multi disciplinary teams.
- Relevant certifications such as Project Management Professional (PMP), PRINCE2 Practitioner, or APM qualification.
- Strong skills in project management methodologies, financial management, and stakeholder engagement.
