A Snapshot of Your Day
In this role, you will lead daily supply chain operations at the Hull plant, ensuring the smooth functioning of SAP‑driven logistics processes. You’ll manage a small team of SAP Key Users and NCR coordinators, oversee 3PL and offsite stock activities, and provide hands‑on SAP system support. Your day will combine operational leadership, troubleshooting system issues, delivering insights through Power BI dashboards, and collaborating with stakeholders to continuously improve processes and system performance.
How You’ll Make an Impact
- Lead and develop a team of SAP Key Users and NCR coordinators to ensure efficient daily supply chain operations and accurate stock management.
- Configure, maintain, and optimize SAP (MM, WM, PP) modules to support planning, material handling, and warehouse operations.
- Provide expert SAP support, troubleshooting system issues and ensuring alignment between system data and physical stock.
- Enhance warehouse and logistics efficiency through SAP configuration improvements and process optimisation.
- Develop and automate Power BI dashboards, delivering real‑time insights for operational and management decision‑making.
- Oversee Non‑Conformance Report (NCR) processes to ensure compliant handling of non‑conforming materials.
- Analyse business processes, identify improvement opportunities, and collaborate with IT to design and implement system enhancements.
- Maintain accurate documentation of SAP processes and configurations while staying up to date with system developments.
What You Bring
- Proven experience in supply chain operations within a manufacturing or logistics environment, with strong SAP expertise (MM, WM, PP modules).
- Demonstrated leadership experience managing small teams and driving operational performance.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot SAP system and process issues effectively.
- Experience in SAP configuration, warehouse management optimisation, and end‑user training/support.
- Proficiency in Power BI for reporting, dashboard creation, and data integration.
- Solid understanding of inventory control, MRP, demand planning, and supply chain processes.
- Ability to collaborate cross‑functionally and influence stakeholders to drive improvements.
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Relevant certifications such as APICS CSCP/CPIM or SAP certification (desirable).
