About the Role
Join our dynamic UK Engineering team as a Virtual Design & Construction Technician, where you will play a crucial role in supporting new project delivery. How You’ll Make an Impact
- Lead 4D BIM & Construction Simulation: Integrate project planning schedules (e.g., P6) with BIM models to produce accurate 4D simulations.
- Develop Visualizations: Create and maintain time-based construction visualizations that support execution planning, logistics, and access strategies.
- Manage 3D Models: Design 3D models for site logistics, temporary works, and specific construction activities.
- Update 4D Models: Ensure models reflect design development, programme resequencing, and changes in execution strategy.
- Support Programme Planning: Contribute to the development of integrated construction programmes that align with engineering maturity and procurement constraints.
What You Bring
- Educational Background: A degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or a related technical field.
- Relevant Experience: Proven experience in a Virtual Design & Construction (VDC), BIM, or digital construction role, preferably in the energy, utilities, or infrastructure sectors.
- Independent Problem‑Solving: Ability to work independently on complex technical problems, as expected for an Experienced Professional (P2) level.
- Technical Proficiency: Strong skills in digital construction, 4D simulation, and BIM software such as Navisworks and Autodesk Revit.
