Are you a dynamic and driven Certified Six Sigma Master Black Belt looking to make a significant impact in a thriving business? We are seeking a Master Black Belt to drive continuous improvement across the GS EU&AF business areas in a complex multi-region and multi-site business, whilst inspiring trained LEAN practitioners. You will have the opportunity to work on innovative projects and lead a team, in a supportive work culture that values continuous improvement. The Master Black Belt plays a critical role in the business success and a key role in igniting organisational change, which is essential to a sustainable future and a successful business. Manage Business Excellence within the Gas Services Europe and Africa business, ensuring continual improvement of processes and compliance with all regulatory requirements. The role will support improvement projects within the business, ensuring that GS EU&AF processes are fit for purpose through effective use of tools and techniques. The role will work with the management population to develop improvement opportunities that improve business processes and reduce waste and variation to impact our productivity cost. How You’ll Make an Impact Leadership & Guidance: Provide leadership, advice and guiding teams through complex improvement projects. You will work across the region influencing senior leadership and driving change. Prepare, gain agreement for, support, and ensure delivery of improvement projects to meet business targets. Engagement: Your hands-on approach will see you leading from the front, from engaging with teams at all levels and collaborating with finance and other departments to ensure seamless business improvements are delivered. Continual Improvement: Support the business to ensure that projects are delivered on time within cost and quality requirements. Identify and deliver improvement opportunities and activities required to maintain and improve capability, efficiency, customer satisfaction, and output for both the short and longer term. Communication: Ensure effective communication of strategies and objectives to create an environment of continuous improvement, teamwork, and good industrial relations. Organisational Change and Transformation: Act as a change agent within the business, influencing all company levels and driving change by utilising suitable tools and techniques. Technical Quality: Provide guidance and support in technical quality. What You Bring You possess a Lean Six Sigma Master Black Belt certification or have a minimum of 5 years of experience as a Black Belt, with a degree in a relevant field. Your management experience spans both project-based and manufacturing environments, with a proven track record in continual improvement processes. You are knowledgeable in the practices of the automotive, aerospace, or nuclear industries and have experience in quality and business improvement. You have demonstrated leadership capabilities and a thorough understanding of continuous improvement, agile, and lean methodologies to a Master Black Belt level. Your proficiency in English is high, and you ideally also possess a strong command of German, along with excellent interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills. You are enthusiastic and results-oriented, with a passion for driving continuous improvement initiatives, strong conceptual problem-solving abilities, and a willingness to travel. About the Team Our Gas Services division offers low-emission power generation through service and decarbonization. Zero or low emission power generation and all gas turbines under one roof, steam turbines and generators.
