Join us on our exciting Siemens Energy Additive Manufacturing (AM) journey as we transition into volume production of various components! As the Industrial/Continuous Improvement Engineer, you will tackle new challenges and explore possibilities within the AM value chain, focusing on quality and cost in powder and post-processing steps. Your open-minded engineering skillset will be essential as you analyze processes and implement solutions on the shop floor, collaborating with stakeholders from the global Technology Industrialization team and local Operational and Engineering teams.

How You’ll Make an Impact

  • Analyze current processes to identify areas for improvement in PBF LB/M machine operations, ensuring optimal performance.
  • Develop and execute process control plans that enhance machine performance and product quality.
  • Design and conduct sensitivity studies to evaluate the effects of process variations, providing valuable insights for decision-making.
  • Collaborate with engineering and production teams to implement effective process improvements that drive efficiency.
  • Document findings and present actionable recommendations to stakeholders, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

What You Bring

  • A Master’s degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Experience in process improvement within the manufacturing sector, showcasing your ability to drive change.
  • Familiarity with PBF LB/M machines and industrial additive manufacturing processes, giving you a solid foundation for success.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, enabling you to tackle complex challenges effectively.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, allowing you to work seamlessly across teams and influence stakeholders.
