As the Head of New Unit Operations, your day will be both strategic and impactful. You will provide strategic support to the SPA portfolio, GCO, and regional/sales teams to enhance sales and operational efficiency. You will manage P&L impacts, transfer costs/inventory, and develop win-strategies. Your role will involve defining attributes, supporting sales through product positioning, product training, value proposition, and pipeline creation/evaluation. Additionally, you will own the transition from new-unit GCO to Services, ensuring a seamless process. You will work in a collaborative environment, driving Siemens Energy's mission of sustainable, reliable, and affordable energy. Your leadership will be crucial in aligning our operations with strategic goals and ensuring smooth transitions and effective support for our sales teams.
How You’ll Make an Impact
- Serve as a critical interface between the portfolio, GCO, Sales, and regional teams.
- Provide strategic support to maximize sales opportunity capture and optimize operational efficiencies.
- Manage the profit & loss (P&L) impact of sales and operations program movements.
- Oversee cost management, inventory management, and financial implications.
- Lead portfolio interface GCO activities, including project pre-FEED and FEED activities, win-strategy development, and core deliveries.
- Provide feedback to portfolio and product managers on emerging market requirements.
- Support sales teams and Regional Hubs with product positioning, value selling, pipeline development, and relationship management.
- Lead the handover from new unit to services sales for Long-Term Programs (LTPs) and ensure close collaboration with regional sales and business development teams.
