A Snapshot of Your Day: In this highly visible and dynamic leadership role, you will lead the activities of the entire Grid Technology (GT) Service business in the UK and Ireland. Your day will involve developing and implementing the Grid Technology Service strategy and action plan in the region while driving continuous improvements in operations. You will manage a full P&L business responsibility of the region, build on collaboration with other Execution Units and Functions, and actively contribute to the growth strategy. You will also focus on making Grid Technology Service a value creator for the Business Area, adding strong value to customers and driving long-term relationships.

How You’ll Make an Impact:

  • Develop and implement Grid Technology Service business strategy and actively contribute to the success of the organization globally.
  • Work closely with GT and GT Service Europe hubs to drive growth and value creation.
  • Lead a team and a strategy driving the right service portfolios as per market needs and trends, with a proactive and growth mindset, while delivering excellent operations allowing a healthy bottom line.
  • Lead the Grid Technology Service UK & Ireland organization effectively to achieve the planned financial performance, building on collaboration with other Execution Units and Functions, contributing to the 10/10+ target, and making GT Service a value creator for GT.
  • Actively continue to develop a diverse and competent team capable of working globally across regions and hubs in efficient and collaborative ways.
  • Ensure the highest standards of safety and business integrity by actively supporting our Zero Harm program and living our compliance culture.

What You’ll Bring:

  • MSc, MBA, with a background in Engineering or Business Administration. Finance, Economics, and Management.
  • Leadership experience in sizeable (100+), complex international teams and managing multiple interfaces.
  • Proven experience of at least 10 years in business management, project management, consulting, finance, marketing, or sales, with P&L experience being a must.
  • Driven by action and committed to growth.
  • Experience in leading large scale organisational transformations.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in the Transmission & Distribution segment, especially HVDC systems and long-term service agreements, including contract negotiation and client relationship management.
  • Strong set of personal skills that support building a network, developing people, culture, and organization combined with an attitude of proactiveness, innovation, and teamwork.
  • Eagerness to consistently meet and exceed commitments/objectives while taking ownership of complex challenges.
