A snapshot of your day:
As a Global Mobility SME, you will play a critical role in ensuring the timely and compliant delegation of employees abroad (outbound) and support delegates traveling to the UK (inbound). You will provide expert guidance on all types of international assignments, deep understanding of global mobility processes, exceptional organizational skills, and the ability to coach other team members.
How you'll make a difference:
- Ensure on‑time and compliant delegations abroad, adhering to all relevant regulations and Siemens Energy policies.
- Act as the primary point of contact for complex delegation cases, providing expert advice and solutions.
- Instruct payroll to start and stop assignment allowances or one‑time assignment payments.
- Support the local department and projects in processes and administrative tasks.
- Coordinate and deliver training programs for new joiners, focusing on delegation processes, travel expenses, and related topics.
- Coach and upskill delegation team members to enhance their knowledge and performance.
- Conduct regular data quality checks for delegation team members to ensure compliance with delegation processes and policies.
- Implement and maintain best practices for data management and reporting.
- Serve as the subject‑matter expert for all types of international assignments, offering strategic advice and insights to stakeholders.
- Stay updated on industry trends, regulatory changes, and best practices in global mobility.
- Provide guidance and support to team members, fostering a collaborative and high‑performing work environment.
What you bring:
- Previous experience in global mobility outbound/inbound, international HR, or a related area.
- Strong knowledge of global mobility processes, regulations, and best practices.
- Experience in training and coaching team members.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment.
- IT literate (Outlook, Office 365).
