Our Training & Development Coordinator role in Newcastle upon Tyne, UK, presents a great opportunity to support world-class training programs. How You'll Make an Impact
- Apprentice Programme Management: Oversee recruitment, on-boarding, and daily operations of the apprentice training programme, ensuring compliance with HR policies, safeguarding, and EHS processes.
- Training Coordination: Source, book, and organise training sessions while maintaining records and producing reports on training metrics and skills/competency.
- Support and Well-being: Provide pastoral care for apprentices, monitor attendance and behaviour, and ensure safeguarding compliance during site visits and travel arrangements.
- Purchasing and Financial Oversight: Manage department purchases, track training costs, and ensure proper authorisation for expenditures, including recovery of the ECITB training levy.
- Collaboration and STEM Engagement: Build relationships with external partners, training providers, and educational institutions to enhance apprenticeship standards and support STEM initiatives.
What You Bring
- Educated to A level/NVQ Level 3 in a relevant field or possess equivalent experience.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience within an Education/Training/HR/QEHS environment.

Our Gas Services division offers Low-emission power generation through service and decarbonization. Zero or low emission power generation and all gas turbines under one roof, steam turbines and generators. Decarbonisation opportunities through service offerings, modernisation, and digitalisation of the fleet.
