As Project Director, you will be reporting to the Head of Operations. Your principal role will be the management of the overall project comprising of packages ranging from HV equipment, Onshore Substations, Offshore Platforms, Offshore Containers to Ancillary systems throughout all the phases from design, construction to commissioning. You should have previously handled large and sophisticated category βAβ projects preferably in the transmission industry or ideally in the offshore industry and be able to demonstrate success in your previous project delivery.
As a senior representative of the business, you will strive to handle customer expectations and conclude the project to the satisfaction of both the customer and the business. You will support the business by devising and implementing strategies for strengthening customer dedication and market position, where applicable.
How You'll Make an Impact
- Oversee the development and implementation of offshore grid access connections for Offshore Wind Farms in the UK and globally, including Offshore Transformer Modules and Onshore Substations.
- Manage a high-profile project, ensuring compliance with Grid Access stipulations and regulatory requirements while adhering to budget, timeline, safety, and quality standards.
- Foster strong relationships with internal teams and external partners to drive business success and maintain exceptional customer satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.
- Collaborate with partners to formulate contracts, manage Change Requests, and integrate them into contractual agreements.
- Supervise project status to ensure adherence to IFRS, identify discrepancies early, and initiate targeted actions while following the Siemens Project Management Plan.
- Conduct regular project status meetings, coordinate acceptance of key deliverables, enforce Siemens Business Conduct Guidelines, and ensure compliance through assessments at key project milestones.
