We are looking for a candidate to coordinate activities required to implement and embed the Time and Attendance system across the plant. Work with HR, IT, Payroll, Operations and Support Functions to ensure system configuration reflects agreed working time rules and people policies. Monitor data quality, resolve exceptions, and support users to ensure consistent and compliant usage. Produce and maintain reports on attendance, absence, and overtime to support operational control and people insights. Act as a key point of contact for Time and Attendance queries, issues, and continuous improvement opportunities.

How You’ll Make An Impact

  • Time & Attendance System Implementation: Coordinate the end to end implementation of the Time and Attendance system, working with HR, Operations, Payroll, IT, and external providers to deliver agreed scope, timelines, and governance requirements. Support system configuration, testing, and go live activities to ensure working time rules, shift patterns, absence types, and overtime policies are accurately reflected.
  • System Adoption & Operational Ownership: Support the rollout and adoption of the system across the plant, providing guidance and first line support to ensure consistent and compliant usage. Maintain system documentation, user guidance, and standard operating procedures, monitoring usage and data quality to identify and address issues.
  • Time, Attendance & Absence Data Management: Ensure accurate and timely capture of working time, absence, and overtime data, validating records for payroll and reporting cycles. Investigate and resolve discrepancies and exceptions in collaboration with HR and operational teams, ensuring audit ready records at all times.
  • Reporting, Insights and Controls: Produce regular and ad hoc reports on attendance, absence, overtime, and working time compliance using agreed reporting tools (e.g. Power BI). Provide insight into trends, risks, and recurring issues to support operational control and informed people decision making.
  • Governance, Compliance & Continuous Improvement: Ensure Time & Attendance processes comply with Working Time Regulations, employment legislation, and internal people policies, supporting clear governance and control frameworks. Identify and support continuous improvement opportunities to enhance system effectiveness, data quality, and operational efficiency post implementation.

What You Bring

  • Proven experience working with Time and Attendance systems, workforce operations, HR systems, payroll support, or related people and operational processes.
  • Experience supporting system implementations, process change, or operational rollouts, ensuring solutions are compliant, accurate, and well‑embedded.
  • Strong analytical capability with high attention to detail, including confidence using Excel and reporting tools (e.g. Power BI) to manage and interpret attendance, absence, and overtime data.
  • Solid understanding of working time rules, absence management, payroll inputs, and data governance, enabling reliable payroll processing and audit‑ready records.
  • Strong systems aptitude and confidence working with operational workforce data in large, complex, or unionised environments.
  • Degree or equivalent experience in HR, Business, Operations, or a related discipline.
