Overview
A Snapshot of Your Day: We are looking for a Wind Turbine Technician to join our Onshore Service Team with the view to progress to Maintenance Technician and then Troubleshooter level in our SP2 S03 Hub which consists of Senvion technology across our sites in North England.
Only candidates based within a 30-45 minute commute of Wigan, WN5 will be considered.
What You’ll Do
As a Wind Turbine Technician you will perform troubleshooting, maintenance, and inspections on customers\’ wind farms. This is an opportunity to be part of a growing team within a dynamic business, delivering innovation to the renewable energy sector.
Responsibilities
- Perform troubleshooting, maintenance, and inspections on various customers’ wind farms.
- Carry out Electrical/Mechanical scheduled and unscheduled maintenance activities on wind turbines.
What You Bring
- Professional experience in an Electrical/Mechanical background; electrical maintenance background preferred
- NVQ level 3 or 4 or full apprenticeship scheme preferred
- Previous experience of working in the wind industry preferred, although full training will be provided for the right candidate
- A self-motivated individual with ability to work under tight deadlines
- Technical knowledge working on wind turbines would be preferred
- Experience working with MS Office applications. ATS, FSM and Fluix would be an advantage
