How to contribute to our vision
We are now looking for a Technical Document Administrator to join our team at Hull, UK. You will be developing new and existing technical documentation which supports the production facility to safely manufacture blades to the right quality.
This will involve working with the local and global engineering departments for technical documentation writing, creating business cases, routing of documentation and reporting status updates to all stakeholders.
Some of your key tasks will include but not be limited to:

  • Creating and maintaining work instructions, check lists, control instructions, etc. in collaboration with relevant global and local engineering functions.
  • Coordinating translation activities with external translation service providers/global functions
  • Reviewing and managing externally translated documents.
  • Performing quality review of documents created/updated by colleagues (technical editing and compliance check).
  • General Technical Writing and Engineering Change Management (ECM) support.
  • Using SAP to create and update routings for documentation management
  • Task management using tools such as Jira

What you need to make a difference
Passion for renewable energy and a sense for the importance to lead the change. We are also looking for;

  • Focus on health and safety is essential
  • Qualifications in English language/literacy and finance preferable
  • Strong with the use of IT
  • Experience in working with topic-based authoring and CMS, preferably Tech Pub Studio
  • Familiar with general Document Management principles/systems and understanding the fundamental values of Engineering Change Management
  • Experience working in a Document Management System (DMS)/Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) system preferably Teamcenter (Training available)
  • Experience in technical documentation writing and creation of business cases in collaboration with engineers and technicians
  • Advanced user of MS Office with flair for IT tools and systems in general
  • Experience in working with Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator.
  • Outgoing, flexible, self-driven and proactive personality, capable of multitasking, structuring own work assignments and meeting deadlines
  • Able to communicate and collaborate with individuals across all organizational levels
