Your day-to-day involves running a diverse portfolio of blue-collar subcontractors, balancing strategic sourcing, operational execution, and cross-functional collaboration to ensure we deliver on time, safely, and within scope.

In Site Resource Sourcing (SRS), you’ll play a central role in delivering critical support to our offshore wind projects. Your day-to-day involves running a diverse portfolio of blue-collar subcontractors, balancing strategic sourcing, operational execution, and cross-functional collaboration to ensure we deliver on time, safely, and within scope.
The Subcontractor Management (SBM) team is involved in a wide range of activities which cross multiple functional areas in offshore execution. Some of the main deliverables are the negotiation of installation frame contracts in collaboration with procurement, ensuring suitable technical coverage in terms of profiles and requirements externally, being main point of escalation in contract and claim management topics. In essence, you will be a center of knowledge for the project teams as well as internal functions when it comes to handling the offshore blue collar subcontractor portfolio on your assign projects.
The Subcontractor Manager will be defining the sourcing strategy including allocation of time and material positions and execution of selected work package outsourcing activities in collaboration with a wide range of customers in the organization (PM, QHSE, P&HS, EN).

What You Bring
- A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant field, or equivalent experience required
- Experience with commercial and exhibit technical flair. A commercial demeanor with a touch of technical flair!
- Strong negotiation skills – or the confidence and strive to develop them
- You possess excellent communication skills in English both speaking and in writing and you are comfortable addressing a wide range of partners at senior levels in Siemens Gamesa as well as externally towards the subcontractor companies. A natural ability to build trust and communicate clearly with collaborators!
- Comfortable working across different IT systems and collaborating in remote team setups
- Able to make sound decisions independently and handle pressure in peak periods
About The Team
You’ll join a dedicated team of Subcontractor Managers (SBMs) located across our offshore hubs in Denmark, the UK, PL, TW and the US. Reporting to the Team Lead SBM in Vejle, Denmark, you’ll take ownership of subcontractor sourcing under both work package and time & material models. The role blends supplier relationship management with direct project delivery responsibility.
