Are you seeking a rewarding career in manufacturing? Do you want to be part of a close-knit team committed to delivering world-class quality? Our Wind Turbine Blade Manufacturing Facility in Hull is currently hiring Production Operatives for our Coating Department.
As a Coating Operative, you will be responsible for the final preparation and painting of wind turbine blades. Your skills will ensure a flawless coating surface is achieved, adhering to precise specifications. This role is physically demanding and suited for individuals who are resilient and possess endurance. You will often work in full personal protective equipment (PPE), including paper suits and air-fed masks, and must demonstrate exceptional attention to detail to identify any potential faults to the blades before painting.
These roles require flexibility to work shifts that will include nights and weekends. You must live within a commutable distance of Hull to be considered and hold permanent right to live and work in the UK.
How You’ll Make An Impact- Operate specialist machinery for blade painting.
- Execute sanding and filling of blades as outlined in both initial and ongoing training.
- Adhere to all health and safety protocols to ensure the well-being of yourself and your colleagues.
- Exhibit strong organisational skills while using the appropriate materials, tools, and equipment.
- Plan and layout work meticulously, following strict engineering specifications and quality standards.
