Siemens Gamesa, part of Siemens Energy, is seeking highly motivated graduates for a 2‑year graduate programme based in Newcastle upon Tyne. The programme focuses on Resource Management & Planning (RMPL) and Operations Support (OS) functions across 50+ offshore windfarms.
How You’ll Make An Impact
The programme provides a holistic view of offshore service windfarm operations, offering experience across technical, safety, and managerial functions. Rotations give exposure to senior stakeholders.
- Operational Performance
- Remote monitoring of turbine performance and output to maintain high asset availability.
- Collecting, analysing and interpreting performance data to identify trends and improvement opportunities.
- Supporting development and implementation of optimisation strategies.
- Technician Workforce Management
- Planning and coordinating routine, preventive maintenance and repair activities.
- Assisting resource teams in forecasting, sourcing, developing, deploying and controlling the global Wind Technician workforce.
- Health, Safety and Compliance
- Strict adherence to HSE legislation and company safety rules, including Wind Turbine Safety Rules.
- Project and General Management
- Support senior colleagues and project teams to deliver projects on time and within budget.
- Administration, documentation and quality record‑keeping for operations.
- Effective communication with internal engineering, finance teams and external stakeholders.
- Identify and target process improvements to enhance site and business efficiency.
What You Bring
Required qualifications: Graduate or on‑track graduate with a Bachelors or Masters in Engineering, Physics or Environmental Science, preferably with a renewable energy focus.
