Siemens Gamesa, part of Siemens Energy, is seeking highly motivated graduates for a 2‑year graduate programme based in Newcastle upon Tyne. The programme focuses on Resource Management & Planning (RMPL) and Operations Support (OS) functions across 50+ offshore windfarms.

How You’ll Make An Impact

The programme provides a holistic view of offshore service windfarm operations, offering experience across technical, safety, and managerial functions. Rotations give exposure to senior stakeholders.

  • Operational Performance
    • Remote monitoring of turbine performance and output to maintain high asset availability.
    • Collecting, analysing and interpreting performance data to identify trends and improvement opportunities.
    • Supporting development and implementation of optimisation strategies.
  • Technician Workforce Management
    • Planning and coordinating routine, preventive maintenance and repair activities.
    • Assisting resource teams in forecasting, sourcing, developing, deploying and controlling the global Wind Technician workforce.
  • Health, Safety and Compliance
    • Strict adherence to HSE legislation and company safety rules, including Wind Turbine Safety Rules.
  • Project and General Management
    • Support senior colleagues and project teams to deliver projects on time and within budget.
    • Administration, documentation and quality record‑keeping for operations.
    • Effective communication with internal engineering, finance teams and external stakeholders.
    • Identify and target process improvements to enhance site and business efficiency.

What You Bring

Required qualifications: Graduate or on‑track graduate with a Bachelors or Masters in Engineering, Physics or Environmental Science, preferably with a renewable energy focus.

Flexible working: 3 days per week required to work from the Newcastle office. Working hours: 37 hours per week. Business travel: occasional; approx. 6–8 trips a year (2–3 days each).
