As a Stores Operative at Siemens Gamesa, your day will involve supporting the storage and logistics requirements of the Grimsby Wind Farm in North Lincolnshire. You will be responsible for accurately recording and controlling stock movements, packing tools and parts, and ensuring compliance with export, import, and dangerous goods documentation. Your role will require flexibility to adapt to changing plans while maintaining the highest safety standards and providing crucial information to your Line Manager to ensure effective stock management.
How you’ll make an impact:
- Order, receive, pick, pack, issue, and dispatch inventory while maintaining fully auditable records in both SAP and paper formats.
- Complete export/import and dangerous goods manifests to comply with legislation.
- Manage calibrated tools and secure inventory, including safety equipment and tooling.
- Oversee LOLER inspections for lifting equipment to ensure compliance and safety.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized environment, adhering to procedures and conducting regular audits.
- Conduct inventory checks and audits to ensure accuracy and team performance.
What you bring:
