Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy (SGRE) is looking for an Advanced Operations Coordinator to join our Service Operations Team at Hornsea Three (HOW03) Offshore Wind Farm. The project contains 197 Siemens Gamesa 14MW wind turbines. As an Advanced Operations Coordinator you will plan, coordinate, and support field personnel in conducting the safe and profitable servicing and maintenance of wind turbine equipment. This will be done in line with planned maintenance requirements, including providing parts and consumables for our offshore wind farm, living and working from our Service Operation Vessel (SOV) sailing from Port of Grimsby. Work pattern is a 2 week on – 2 week off rotation, 12 hour days.
How You’ll Make An Impact
- Picking parts and tooling to assist technician team mobilisation and de‑mobilisation
- Maintain inventory both physically and via SAP (Systems, Applications & Products) system.
- Optimise material replenishment levels and stock turnover
- Plan and execute material movement between our SOV stores and Onshore stores facility, to align with planned port calls
- Raise, schedule, and allocate planned and unplanned maintenance activities
- Co‑ordinate the preparation/provision of HSE (Health, Safety and Environment) related documentation and ensure all work is carried out in line with UK legislation
- Co‑ordinate record keeping, reporting and documentation archives to support full service and maintenance history
- Control of Substances Hazardous to Health (COSHH) & Dangerous Goods management of transport, storage and documentation
- Maintaining calibrated tooling service scheduling
- Basic financial administration. Raising of purchase orders and payment
- Manifesting personnel between transfer methods in the wind farm
- Daily customer reporting using MS Office
- Adherence to SGRE Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) warehouse practices
