Responsibilities
- Lead a large team of Production Operatives in a fast‑paced environment.
- Take full responsibility for performance, ensuring your team has clear direction and a high level of engagement, delivering all activities safely and efficiently.
- Responsible for delivery of SQDCP (Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost and People) and ensuring key KPI targets are achieved across the shift.
- Ensure the correct reporting of incidents, accidents, near misses and unsafe acts and conditions.
- Optimize utilization of resources.
- Ensure manufacturing guidelines, processes, and procedures are followed to deliver a high‑quality product on time.
- Lead and supervise assigned Team Leaders and Operatives across a wide area of disciplines.
- Communicate clearly, concisely, and effectively with your team.
- Manage performance across the team.
- Implement the blade handover process thoroughly.
- Ensure correct Prisma bookings and manage team spend on workwear and consumables.
- Manage competence across the operational area.
- Own the HR process for all employees within the operational area.
- Provide constructive feedback to ensure right‑first‑time performance.
- Own operational standards, including 5S, housekeeping, short‑interval control and process validation.
- Own takt adherence and line balancing across the operational area.
- Review all task‑related risk assessments within the operational area.
Qualifications
- Leadership experience in managing and directing teams in a manufacturing/production environment.
- Experience working in the wind industry desirable, but other applicable industry experience will be considered.
- Excellent decision‑making skills and an innovative approach to problem solving; previous experience resolving issues and supporting high‑performing teams.
- Experience delivering production plans and associated disciplines.
