Your role will require troubleshooting, conducting inspections, and ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards while collaborating with subcontractors and other team members.
How You’ll Make An Impact
- Execute major component exchanges, including gearboxes, main bearings, generators, and blades.
- Perform lifting operations and ensure compliance with safety standards during all tasks.
- Conduct scheduled and unscheduled electrical and mechanical maintenance activities on various wind turbine platforms.
- Coordinate service operations and resolve product issues on customer equipment.
- Assist in completing contractual extra scopes of work as needed.
- Support service operations when not engaged in major component replacements, working collaboratively with wider teams.
What You Bring
- Experience in the wind industry, qualified as a maintenance technician, ideally on Gamesa, Senvion, or Siemens platforms.
- Familiarity with major component exchanges; training can be provided for the right candidate.
- Hydraulic, electrical, or mechanical experience.
- A self-motivated individual who can work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications.
- A flexible and enthusiastic approach to the role, including willingness to work away from home and during unsociable hours.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to manage multiple assignments effectively.
