Are you interested in a career in manufacturing? Do you want to work as part of a close-knit team delivering world-class quality? Our Wind Turbine Blade Manufacturing Facility in Hull is looking for Production Operatives to join our Final Assembly Department.
As an Assembly Operative, you will work on the final stage of blade manufacturing, following detailed specifications to add components that enhance aerodynamics and efficiency. This role involves standing, twisting, stretching, and lifting, all while prioritising health and safety for yourself and your team.
How You’ll Make an Impact- Adhere to all health and safety requirements for yourself and those around you.
- Use correct materials, tools, and equipment with strong organisational skills.
- Plan and lay out work, following strict engineering specifications and quality standards.
- Check and monitor work continuously, ensuring exceptional attention to detail.
- Work in physically demanding conditions, including wearing full protective suits and breathing apparatus (RPE).
- Follow instructions precisely and adhere to approved processes without unauthorised changes.
- Experience working with large machinery.
- Familiarity with CNC (computer-controlled) machinery.
- High levels of spatial awareness.
- Experience in bolting and drilling.
- Health and safety certification.
- Ability to work a shift pattern that includes nights.
