How You'll Make a Difference
- Create, maintain, and update production plans and schedules in line with customer demand and operational capacity.
- Monitor production progress and adjust schedules as needed to minimize delays and disruptions.
- Work closely with shop floor teams daily to monitor progress, respond to issues in real-time, and help keep production running to schedule.
- Liaise with production, procurement, stores, and logistics teams to ensure material and resource availability.
- Track work orders, stock levels, and production performance to support on-time delivery.
- Analyze production data and prepare reports to support planning decisions and operational performance.
- Identify bottlenecks, shortages, and scheduling conflicts, escalating issues as necessary.
- Support continuous improvement activities to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and workflow planning.
- Maintain accurate system data and documentation related to production activity.
What You Bring
- 3–5 years of previous experience in a Production Controller, Production Planner, or similar role within a manufacturing environment.
- Good knowledge of production planning and scheduling processes.
- Strong Excel skills, with the ability to analyze data, manage spreadsheets, and produce reports.
- Experience using SAP is highly desirable.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively across multiple departments.
- Excellent organizational skills with a methodical and accurate approach to work.
- Ability to prioritize tasks, solve problems, and remain hands-on in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
