Overview
A Snapshot of Your Day. Imagine starting your day with a sense of purpose as you dive into the STA-RMS Deviation Dashboard, investigating priority notifications and collaborating with your RDS and OSD teammates to resolve critical alerts. You’ll monitor a dedicated set of units, ensuring data integrity through tools like Lens, and create Salesforce cases for genuine issues. Each month, you’ll prepare and deliver detailed reports to customers, working closely with Technical Support to ensure accuracy and value. You’ll lead regional review calls, share success stories, and support your team with additional projects, all while making a real difference in the reliability and performance of energy systems.
Responsibilities
- You will provide remote monitoring and reporting for assigned connected sites, ensuring seamless communication with the local RDC Manager.
- You will develop Remote Diagnostic Monitoring activities to minimise equipment risk and downtime for both Siemens Energy and customers through timely preventive action.
- You will deliver customer reporting and ticketing that is concise, technically accurate, and maximises commercial value.
- You will onboard new units into RDS systems and ensure data integrity across all contributory systems.
- You will identify opportunities for improvement and support RDS Research & Development engineering priorities.
What You Bring
- You have a Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant discipline such as Instrumentation & Controls or Mechanical Engineering.
- You bring experience in remote diagnostic and monitoring, ideally with high-value equipment in aerospace, manufacturing, marine, or energy industries.
- You are passionate about data-driven services and use data to enhance service quality.
- You demonstrate strong leadership, troubleshooting, and analytical skills, thriving in high-pressure environments with a customer-focused mindset.
- You communicate effectively at all levels, appreciate cultural diversity, and ideally speak more than one language.
