This apprenticeship opportunity will be a three-year long programme whereby the successful candidate will work across our project environments throughout the scheme period on a structured placement rota supplemented by formalised learning with our local college partner. Project Management, as a professional discipline, forms a backbone within the operational execution model of Siemens Energy and is supported, and recognised, with both internal and external accreditation. This programme sets out to provide both theory and practical experience under the Associate Project Manager Level 4 pathway to develop both underpinning knowledge and also broad perspective with an aim to set a firm foundation from which to progress.
From internally focused projects that deliver solutions to support customer delivery, through direct end customer interaction with operational challenges through to shaping the future, the live tasks supported across all placements will provide development and growth in an exciting and diverse service environment.
How You’ll Make An Impact
- Collaborate with a variety of stakeholders in multiple functions and locations of the Aero Gas Turbine (AGT) business in the delivery of customer requirements.
- Challenge convention, questioning the ‘norm’ and encouraging the business to innovate.
- Build your continuous improvement skills and confidence through Lean Six Sigma basics training and owning/implementing continuous improvement initiatives.
- Become an active member within a team of Entry Level Talent (Apprentices/Interns/Graduates) to participate in wider business projects through our culture hub.
- The scope of these projects will provide you with valuable team‑working experiences and opportunities to enhance presentation skills.

About The Team
Project management is an embedded function within the Aero Gas Turbine product line and forms integral parts of the overall customer delivery experience. The apprenticeship will be a placement rota across a selection of these allowing you to fulfil the apprenticeship requirement and explore this professional discipline widely. Our Gas Services division offers low‑emission power generation through service and decarbonisation.
