Working with Siemens Energy AGT based at our services headquarters in Warwick, as an MRO engineer you will support our global Maintenance Repair & Overhaul Centre’s (MROC’s). You’ll work across our fleet of A35 and A20 Siemens Energy products, solving complex technical queries and providing high quality technical solutions with the team of Engineers, Supply Chain and Project Management across the Siemens Energy organisation.
How You’ll Make An Impact
- Use digital tools and platforms to enhance the creation, management, and delivery of MRO data.
- Support engineering technical reviews and identify opportunities for cost reduction and efficiency improvements.
- Develop enhancements to technical product packages to support overhaul and field maintenance activities.
- Build capabilities across people, processes, and tools to meet current and future business requirements aligned with global strategy.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and business excellence programmes.
- Conduct engineering analysis, evaluate technical data, and provide actionable recommendations.
- Undertake technical package activities for both in-house overhaul and field maintenance processes.
- Travel as required, including UK and international assignments, to support MROC operations and customer needs.
What You Bring
- Demonstrated experience developing technical solutions and improvement initiatives.
- Strong adherence to structured processes and procedures.
- Team‑oriented mindset with the ability to collaborate effectively across functions.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience in customer‑facing engineering roles is advantageous.
- Understanding of gas turbine operation and maintenance, ideally within aero‑derivative technologies.
- Mechanical fitting experience (desired).
- Familiarity with PLM/Teamcenter systems (beneficial).
- Experience with 3D animation tools (Cortona preferred) is an advantage.
- Degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing, Logistics Engineering, or relevant practical experience.
About The Team
You will be part of a six‑member MRO department within the wider MRO & Tooling Team of nine employees. The team consists of specialists in overhaul methods, technical engineering support, and tooling design. Together, we support our global network of Maintenance Repair & Overhaul Centres (MROCs), tackling a wide range of engineering challenges—from component damage assessments and root cause analysis (RCA) to cost reduction and process optimization.
