As a Project Implementation Engineer in our Steam Team, you’ll play a decisive role in managing the identification, quotation, ordering, and expediting of spare parts and services for generators, steam turbines, and auxiliary plant components. You’ll organise project teams, assign responsibilities, develop schedules, and determine resource needs, all while ensuring projects meet internal and external quality standards. How You’ll Make An Impact
- You manage the identification, quotation, ordering, and expediting of parts and services for generator, steam turbine, and auxiliary plant spare parts.
- You organize project teams, assign individual responsibilities, and develop project schedules to ensure timely delivery.
- You monitor and report on project status, including cost, timing, and staffing, ensuring adherence to quality standards.
- You identify and resolve obstacles to keep projects on track and within budget, integrating vendor tasks as needed.
- You complete and close out contract requirements, promoting continuous improvement and a responsible EHS culture.
What You Bring
- You have (or are working towards) an HNC or equivalent in an engineering or commercial field, with a preference for engineering.
- You demonstrate a strong understanding of both technical and commercial aspects of the business cycle.
- You excel under pressure, meeting deadlines with excellent attention to detail and the ability to multitask.
- You bring strong interpersonal (oral and written) and IT skills, working effectively on your own initiative.
