Join Siemens Energy Gas Services UK&IE as a PMO Manager (with QMiP Integration) and become the person who helps project teams execute with clarity, consistency, and confidence. You’ll re-establish and lead the UK&IE PMO, building the frameworks, tools, templates, and governance that enable strong delivery across the portfolio. Working closely with the Head of Project Management, you’ll strengthen reporting, assurance, and portfolio visibility while driving practical continuous improvement. You’ll also play a hands‑on role in QMiP governance—helping teams stay audit‑ready, evidence‑based, and aligned with global standards.
How You’ll Make An Impact
- You will develop and maintain project management frameworks, tools, templates, and governance structures across the UK&IE portfolio.
- You will ensure consistent adoption of Siemens Energy Project Excellence and Phase/Quality Gate models, including reporting requirements and governance adherence.
- You will lead QMiP governance practices, including documentation control, evidence preparation, Gate support, and audit readiness.
- You will track and report portfolio status, risks, issues, KPIs, and opportunities, and support strategic and portfolio-level reporting and reviews.
- You will support training, onboarding, certification, and competence development for Project Managers, including coordination of IPMA certification.
What You Bring
- A degree in Business, Project Management, Engineering, or a related field.
- A formal project management qualification (APMP, IPMA, PRINCE2, or similar).
- 5+ years’ experience in PMO, project management, QA, or delivery support roles, supporting multiple projects and cross‑functional teams.
- Experience with portfolio governance, PM tooling, PMO reporting systems, and project controls.
- Exposure to QMiP or similar assurance frameworks, including governance and audit‑readiness practices.

You will sit within Siemens Energy Gas Services UK&IE, supporting the Head of Project Management and the wider portfolio of Project Managers. The team’s focus is on consistent project execution through practical governance, shared standards, and reliable reporting. The PMO exists to provide the tools, templates, systems, and forums that help teams plan, deliver, and learn across projects. A key part of the environment is QMiP assurance, including maturity insights, evidence preparation and readiness for reviews and audits. This role acts as an enabling function—supporting delivery teams while improving how project management is practised across the portfolio.
