As a Logistics Project Manager, your day will revolve around ensuring the smooth coordination of all logistics activities across complex international substation projects, primarily within EU2. You’ll act as the central link between Project Management, Procurement, Suppliers, and Customers—overseeing the entire logistics process from planning to execution. Whether you\’re evaluating transport contracts, coordinating heavy haulage, or refining logistics strategies, your proactive approach keeps every phase of the project running efficiently and on time.

How You’ll Make An Impact

  • Drive logistics strategy and execution for major substation projects, from bid phase through to delivery.
  • Prepare logistics calculations, develop transport concepts, and perform risk assessments for both simple and complex international projects.
  • Oversee the coordination and shipping of all cargo types—ensuring compliance with contract terms, deadlines, and budgets.
  • Lead negotiations with logistics providers, ensuring the best value and risk mitigation.
  • Act as the key interface between internal teams and external partners, fostering smooth communication and alignment.
  • Continuously improve logistics policies, procedures, and performance for long-term project success.

What You Bring

  • A degree in Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field.
  • Solid experience working in cross-functional, international teams with strong logistical and contract law expertise.
  • Proven track record in managing complex transport and logistics operations, including heavy and oversized cargo.
  • Skilled in negotiating logistics contracts and managing risks, claims, and opportunities.
  • Proficient in MS Office with working knowledge of SAP.
  • Strong analytical skills, a customer- and solution-oriented mindset, and excellent organizational and interpersonal abilities.
