A Snapshot of Your Day Join us as a Non-Destructive Evaluation (NDE) Engineer, where you will be the focal point for all NDE-related matters within the SEITL business. You will carry out non-destructive evaluations, maintain, and facilitate inspection personnel throughout the organization. Imagine being at the forefront of quality assurance, sharing the responsibility for the overall development of processes and the introduction of new systems to ensure quality outputs. You will support financial targets while being part of a collaborative team of engineers focused on achieving collective goals. Your proactive role will involve liaising and interfacing at all levels of the core manufacturing business, including supporting investigations at suppliers when necessary. How You’ll Make an Impact Encourage awareness of the importance of quality through your commitment to NDE/NDT groups on quality-related matters. Be an integral part of the manufacturing group, working together to achieve relevant KPIs. Deliver Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) throughout the business, including radiographic, magnetic particle, and penetrant testing. Collaborate with the group manager, engineers, operators, and fitters to report problems and introduce process changes. Serve as the focal point for quality-related issues within your work area, communicating with Quality Management and component group management to identify priorities and workload schedules. Attend group meetings regularly to gain a comprehensive understanding of production programs and priorities. What You Bring Knowledge of non-destructive evaluation methods and processes. Ideally, you will have experience and hold qualifications in liquid penetrant inspection, magnetic particle inspection, computed radiographic inspection for welds, and a basic radiation safety qualification; however, training can be provided. A minimum of 5 years’ experience in a Quality or associated manufacturing area. ONC/HNC or a graduate degree in engineering or an equivalent qualification.
