A Snapshot of Your Day Join our Lean@GS core team within the Global EQS Function. You’ll be part of a dynamic group driving operational excellence through Lean principles and Business Improvement. This role offers an opportunity to contribute to process improvement initiatives and gain experience in AI-driven solutions, workflow automation, and performance transparency. In the process, we will train and mentor you in the skills of operational excellence.
How You’ll Make an Impact:
- Develop Standard Work and create structured workflows aligned with Lean principles.
- Create tools to support Lean implementations and visual management.
- Work on prompt engineering and develop simple AI agents (and/or Python-based solutions) to enhance Lean processes.
- Build and maintain dashboards (e.g., Power BI) for performance tracking and reporting.
- Develop workflow automation using tools like Power Automate.
- Assist in content organisation for Lean@GS initiatives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement Lean solutions.
What You Bring:
- You must be studying a degree in engineering, computer science, data analytics, business process management, or something similar.
- Interested in Lean methodologies and digital transformation.
- Working knowledge of the Office 365 Power Platform (Power BI, Power Automate, Power Apps).
- Proficient with Office 365.
- Able to work well in a team and independently, especially in a hybrid environment.
- A quick learner, adaptable to new tools and technologies.
- Strong in English communication; additional languages are a plus.
Key Technical Skills:
- Prompt engineering and AI concepts (and/or Python for AI solutions).
- HTML and JavaScript for web-based solutions.
- Dashboard tools (Power BI or similar).
