About the Role
Join our dynamic Field Service department as a Technical Support Manager for Field Service Digitalisation! In this pivotal role, you will be the focal point for all digitalisation initiatives, collaborating with both internal and external project stakeholders. Imagine driving projects that enhance the efficiency of planning and executing Field Service work for a global fleet of 2000 Industrial Gas Turbines. You will investigate opportunities for beneficial digitalisation, develop common digital tools, and support the Field Service Management team in embedding these tools into the business. Your efforts will directly contribute to achieving key performance indicators, reducing costs, and ensuring the highest levels of customer satisfaction.
How You’ll Make an Impact
- Drive Field Service Digitalisation projects to enhance efficiency in planning and execution of Field Service work.
- Investigate and identify opportunities for beneficial digitalisation within the broader Field Service environment.
- Collaborate with SGT and the wider Field Service community to develop and implement common digital tools and processes.
- Support Field Service Management in embedding these tools into the business, ensuring KPIs are met to drive reduced costs and high-quality service.
What You Bring
- Proven experience working with and implementing IT-based solutions such as SAP and Salesforce.
- High-level proficiency in MS Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Extensive technical knowledge gained from working in a large engineering company for over 10 years.
- Strong stakeholder management skills paired with excellent communication abilities.
- Project Management experience is a plus, as is a background in Business Improvement methodologies like Lean or Six Sigma.
