Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate environmental and energy initiatives that improve performance while supporting business and sustainability goals.
- Partner with engineering, facilities, manufacturing, and SERE to reduce energy use and environmental impact in buildings and equipment.
- Identify, prioritise, and drive energy‑saving and carbon management opportunities across operations.
- Conduct energy and environmental audits, site inspections, and surveys, turning findings into clear actions.
- Track, benchmark, and communicate energy performance data, ensuring compliance with legislation and best‑practice guidelines.
Qualifications
- An environmental qualification such as a relevant degree, IEMA, or NEBOSH certification.
- Demonstrable experience in environmental management, energy, and sustainability.
- Strong numerical and analytical skills, with the ability to present clear, logical cases.
- Change management capability, including influencing others and stimulating energy and environmental considerations.
- Awareness of ISO 50001 and ISO 14001 standards.
