- How You’ll Make An Impact
- Procurement Data Analysis & Reporting (50%)
- Conduct complex analyses of procurement data, including spend, purchase mix, and supplier performance, to uncover cost-saving and efficiency opportunities.
- Design, develop, and maintain dashboards and reports using BI tools (e. g., Power BI, Tableau) to deliver actionable insights to procurement stakeholders.
- Prepare detailed quote/bid analyses and recommendations for RFI/RFP processes to support buyer negotiation strategies.
- Generate and present regular and ad-hoc reports on key procurement metrics for management review and strategic planning.
- Strategic Sourcing & Market Analysis (30%)
- Perform in-depth supply market research and analysis to support the development of robust sourcing strategies for key categories.
- Evaluate potential and existing suppliers by analyzing performance data, assessing risks, and benchmarking against market standards.
- Collaborate with strategic procurement teams by providing data-driven recommendations for supplier selection and contract negotiations.
- Process Optimization & Governance (20%)
- Identify and recommend improvements to procurement processes, tools, and templates to drive best practices and enhance operational efficiency.
- Support the management and analysis of the Procure-to-Pay (PTP) cycle to identify and resolve process bottlenecks.
- Coach and review the work of lower-level professionals, providing guidance on analytical techniques and procurement best practices.
What You Bring
- Experience: Significant professional experience (typically 5+ years) in procurement analysis, supply chain analysis, or a similar data-intensive role.
- Technical Knowledge: Proficiency in BI tools such as Power BI and Tableau, and experience with SAP applications and SQL programming.
- Certifications: Certified Professional in Supply Management (CPSM) and/or Certified in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM) are preferred.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Data Science, Finance, or a related field.
