The Business Controller / Finance Business Partner is responsible for ensuring accurate, timely, and compliant financial reporting across assigned cost centres, including budgeting, forecasting, and actuals. The role supports the business by providing high‑quality financial insights, managing month‑end close activities, preparing journals, and ensuring proper cost allocations. In addition, the role provides robust forecasting for central costings, supports UK and global reporting requirements, and collaborates closely with internal and external stakeholders to maintain strong financial governance.
How You’ll Make a Difference
- Financial Controlling
- Lead budgeting, forecasting, and actual reporting for IT, Site Functions, and Support Functions
- Prepare, review, and post month‑end journals, accruals, and provisions with complete and accurate supporting documentation
- Ensure timely and correct cost allocation across business units
- Produce high‑quality monthly cost centre reports and analyse variances between forecast and actuals
- Complete internal invoicing recharging costs between different divisions
- Project & Workstream Leadership
- Lead the Finance Workstream for Special projects
- Strategic partnering with project leads to budget, forecast and present monthly financial reporting to each stakeholder group for the relevant project
- Reconciliation of actuals and alignment with forecast
- Governance, Compliance & Assurance
- Act as an Independent Assessor for RIC Testing
- Ensure full compliance with Siemens Energy regulations, IFRS, local statutory requirements, and internal finance guidelines
- Support external audits and provide ad‑hoc reporting as required
