Join our dynamic team as a Mechanical Test Fitter, where you will play a crucial role in maintaining test facilities and conducting installation and performance testing of gas turbines. Imagine connecting gas turbines to test rigs, fuel supplies, lubricating oil, and pneumatic systems, as well as inlet and exhaust ducting, output shafts, and instrumentation—all within a DSEAR-controlled environment. You will collaborate closely with your team to execute performance tests that meet industry standards, ensuring that your contributions drive innovation and excellence.

How You’ll Make An Impact

  • Carry out mechanical fitting activities to exacting standards while maintaining detailed documentation.
  • Ensure the highest level of health and safety by adhering to Zero Harm principles.
  • Support production, development, and other departmental activities as needed.
  • Contribute to business improvements and uphold a high-quality working environment.
  • Work shift patterns as required to meet program demands.

What You Bring

  • Experience in a relevant mechanical industry, preferably with exposure to rotating equipment.
  • A recognized full Level 3 apprenticeship, NVQ Level 3, or Technical Certificate in a relevant engineering field.
  • Demonstrated attention to detail to achieve precision in all assembly work.
  • A strong safety and quality-driven mindset, complemented by a collaborative approach to teamwork.
