As the Global EQS Lead for Gas Service Solutions, you will lead the global EQS function to ensure Zero Harm, regulatory compliance, and world-class quality standards. Collaborating closely with global leadership, you will define and implement a unified strategy focused on Zero Harm, Sustainability, and Quality Excellence in business execution.
Your role combines strategic oversight with hands-on leadership, promoting a proactive safety and quality culture, driving operational excellence, product integrity, and customer satisfaction through robust EHS and Quality frameworks aligned with Siemens Energy’s strategic objectives. You will play a key role in aligning global teams and shaping the EQS framework to enable safe, reliable, and sustainable project delivery.
Responsibilities- Define and communicate the EQS strategy aligned with Siemens Energy’s vision, fostering a “Zero Harm and Quality First” mindset while leading cross-functional collaboration to achieve EHS and Quality goals.
- Develop and deploy the global EQS strategy, integrating sustainability and ESG considerations to support Siemens Energy’s decarbonization and corporate responsibility objectives.
- Champion the Zero Harm culture, ensuring compliance with ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 standards, and lead the continuous improvement of the EHS Management System to meet corporate and legal requirements.
- Oversee incident investigations and root cause analyses, implementing corrective actions to reduce the Total Recordable Incident Rate (TRIR) and drive operational excellence.
- Drive digitalization within EQS through data-driven performance monitoring, predictive analytics, and sharing global best practices to enhance efficiency.
- Build strong relationships with stakeholders, engage and coach employees to strengthen safety and quality awareness, and develop training programs that meet global EQS competency requirements.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Environmental Science, Business, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- Proven leadership experience in EHS, Quality, or related functions within industrial or construction environments.
- Recognized safety certifications (e.g., OSHA, NEBOSH, ISO Lead Auditor).
- Strong expertise in incident investigation, root cause analysis, and risk management as well as hands-on experience in large-scale, international, or cross-functional project environments.
- Excellent communication and influencing skills across all organizational levels.
- Willingness to travel.
