As a HVDC C&P Integration and Test Lead, you will be responsible for leading the complete software development process during project execution. This includes managing a team of software engineers to develop and integrate advanced Control and Protection systems for HVDC systems, ensuring customer requirements are met, and devising efficient testing strategies to satisfy customer expectations.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the C&P software development from initiation to customer acceptance, ensuring compliance with system requirements.
- Maintain consistent requirements engineering throughout the project.
- Guide software engineers during development and integration phases.
- Collaborate with customers and internal teams to define and coordinate acceptance testing.
- Monitor development and testing progress, providing regular updates to project management.
- Promote model-based engineering and support the use of X-in-the-loop environments to achieve project goals.
Qualifications and Skills
- Degree in Engineering (Electrical, Automation, or related field).
- Extensive hands-on experience with C&P systems for large industrial converters, preferably in HVDC or similar systems.
- Willingness to work on-site during customer acceptance tests.
- Experience leading small engineering or commissioning teams is advantageous.
