We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Regional Field Service Manager to lead and manage field service operations across Europe for our compressor business. This includes normal service activities, modifications, upgrades, and new compressor installations. The successful candidate will be based in the UK and possess a strong technical background in compressors & compressor operations, excellent leadership capabilities, and a customer-focused mindset to drive operational excellence and growth in the region.
How You’ll Make an Impact
- Oversee and manage all field service activities across Europe, including installation, commissioning, maintenance, troubleshooting of compressor installations.
- Lead and support a regional team of field service engineers.
- Ensure service quality, customer satisfaction, and compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
- Develop and execute service strategies to improve performance, customer loyalty, and revenue.
- Coordinate with regional sales and operations teams to align and forecast field activities with broader business goals.
- Build strong relationships with customers, partners, and internal stakeholders to identify service opportunities and provide technical support.
- Monitor and report on service KPIs, team performance, and regional service trends.
- Drive continuous improvement and training initiatives for the service team.
What You Bring
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, technology, business administration, or a related field.
- 10+ years of relevant experience in service businesses or equivalent.
- High tact, professionalism, and ability to interact effectively with management, peers, shop personnel, and clients.
- Strategic problem solver capable of translating business goals into operational initiatives.
- Strong analytical skills for assessing training needs, evaluating processes, and driving data-driven decisions.
- Deep understanding of turbo & reciprocating machinery principles, operations, and maintenance practices.
