A Snapshot of Your Day

As Head of Commodity Management for Gas Turbine Auxilliaries you will lead and develop a high-performing team of commodity managers. Your role is to develop and implement commodity strategies that support our growing business, increase resilience of the supply chain and drive cost out. You will collaborate closely with key collaborators in the business, such as the heads of procurement in each business and Corporate Procurement.

How You\’ll Make an Impact

  • Develop and implement commodity strategies for direct material for small and aero gas turbine auxilliaries
  • Improve supply chain resilience and adjust sourcing strategies to changing global risk patterns through development of suppliers in new sourcing regions and strong supplier relationship management
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to deliver commodity management services, offering guidance on reducing costs, managing risks, and new supply chain technologies and trends.
  • Actively participate in the development Strategic Procurement based on the company\’s mission

What You Bring

  • Proven skills in managing teams and developing people
  • University degree in a technical or business related field or equivalent experience
  • A collaborative and inclusive leadership style that fosters accountability and ownership within the team
  • Track record in commodity strategy, contract management and capacity expansion initiatives
  • Capability to negotiate and to operate in different cultures
  • Knowledge of working with a global supplier base, in a functional matrix environment
