Join our dynamic team at Siemens Energy as the Group Leader for Production Support within the SGT Performance group in Lincoln! In this pivotal role, you will guide a talented team of Performance Engineers, overseeing engine performance testing and diagnostics. You will manage the production support team, ensuring the smooth execution of test instructions and pass-off processes. Your leadership will drive the development of performance assessment tools and enhance documentation systems, all while collaborating closely with various departments to ensure alignment with sales and production goals. How You’ll Make an Impact

  • Lead and manage the Production Engine Performance support team, ensuring effective collaboration and high-quality output.
  • Oversee the Test Instruction and Test and Setting Procedure systems, enhancing the pass-off process through model-based analysis.
  • Serve as the key interface between the SGT Performance team and the Assembly and Test departments, fostering strong communication and teamwork.
  • Develop and maintain fleet assessment tools, while mentoring Performance Engineers in diagnosing engine performance issues.
  • Ensure accurate engine pass-off and data plate settings, while supporting performance calculations and R&D validation tests.

What You Bring

  • A degree in Engineering (Mechanical/Aeronautical), Mathematics, or Software-related fields, with a strong background in Mathematics and Physics.
  • Proven experience in a lead or principal engineer role, demonstrating strong project management and leadership skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse audiences.
  • Familiarity with programming languages such as Visual Basic, FORTRAN, or C#, along with strong data analysis capabilities.
  • A proactive attitude towards problem-solving and process improvement, with a willingness to support testing activities.
