About the Role

As a qualified Electrical Fitter within Field Service, you will work on customer sites across the UK, Ireland, and overseas when opportunities arise. You will have a good understanding of power plant activities, mechanical and electrical activities, and be safety conscious with a Right First Time attitude.

Responsibilities

• Act as an Electrical Fitter (Winder) for Field Service work at customer sites.
• Maintain understanding of Generator Mechanical / Electrical works across different technologies.
• Apply trade-specific skills safely and competently.
• Follow instructions from supervisors and site managers.
• Highlight issues and defects, complete inspection records.
• Work within safety guidelines, risk assessments, and safe working practices.
• Support training of lower-grade employees and undergo training as needed.
• Support company initiatives like Zero Harm, Talk to Me, and Right First Time.
• Travel frequently within the country and overseas.

Qualifications & Skills

• Time served electrical/mechanical apprenticeship or equivalent.
• Experience with electrical fitting (Winding), preferably on Power Stations and site works.
• Experience with repairs on generator stators and rotors, mechanical overhauls.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills.
• Good computer literacy is an advantage.
